    Been using BWRHSD since version 1 and it keeps getting better. You will NOT find a better pizza or focaccia recipe. The discard recipes are amazing! Do yourself a favor and buy this book now. It is user friendly and the tips and planners are super helpful for those like me who procrastinate without a schedule. Mike kills it!

    In Jan. 2019, Mike helped me get started with sourdough baking, something I had wanted to do for years. This was before the ebooks. Mike was (still is) an outstanding mentor and teacher. His starter (Lucille) got me going, initially with some pizza dough, but quickly on to sourdough breads, and Lucille is still working hard today. Whenever I was having problems, Mike generously provided pointers to aid my progress. Then came the first ebook and it has been my regular standby ever since. It contains a wealth of information. The recipes I use the most are Pizza (various), Overnight Focaccia, and last but not least, Banana Bread (the blueberries w. lemon version is a ‘killer’ recipe; I substitute pecans (toast the ones on top) for walnuts and EVOO for melted butter).

    This e-book is so great. Like most people, I started learning about baking sourdough during the pandemic. I kept trying new recipes on different blogs because I couldn’t find a recipe that worked well for me; there is just so much information out there and it’s all very overwhelming. I came across Mike’s Instagram and decided to purchase the e-book. Over the past 6 months, I’ve tried a handful of the recipes and they’ve all been really reliable and tasty. My favorites are the Seeded Sourdough, focaccia, the discard banana muffins, and the scones. Just made the 50% WW recipe this weekend and it is delicious! The instructions are clear and approachable–just the perfect amount of info to geek out without getting overwhelmed. The linked video are very helpful as well, esp for visual learners. Most of all, I love how it gets updated from time to time–it’s like getting a new book every few months!

    Excellent. Exactly what I want(ed) as a beginner/novice sourdough baker. Every single recipe is easily approachable and results in delicious breads/pizzas/WAFFLES/muffins! And has unique recipes like the Detroit style pizza that allow us to expand our repertoire. Your first time around on a new recipe is almost always a stellar success. Can’t wait to try the new 100% WW recipes in the latest version of the eBook….. My god now that I think about it this book is worth twice the price just for the discard recipes!! I was and am so pleased to have those… they help us bakers have as little waste as possible.
