I offer two shapes of proofing basket, a round and an oval . My go-to size is an 875g oval, but hey, some prefer the round!
The oval basket is for loaves 750 – 1000g (875g sweet spot)
The round is for loaves 650 – 900g (750g sweet spot)
*I have had many bakers bake 500g loaves in both and love them!
These are the only basket I use in my baking.
These wood pulp proofing baskets are hand made in Germany, so slight fluctuations in color and size basket to basket are expected.

Love the baskets! Transitioned from wicker bannetons with linen liner to these and they have transformed the final proofing process for me. Easy to care for and nonstick if you prep them as instructed before first use. Won’t purchase proofing baskets from anywhere besides RHSD going forward! Great product.

Love them. Have been trying to develop my ability to bake higher hydration sourdough. After multiple disastrous results with my lined rattan proofing baskets, I decided to give these a try. I prepared them as instructed in your video. Worked like a charm. The proofed 85% hydration dough popped out without sticking to the baskets. Baked up with great oven rise. Have baked and consumed 4 loaves. And starting the process to bake 2 more loaves this weekend.
