Strong handles make moving bread in and out of a hot oven easier and safer than using parchment.
The unique patented design enhances heat distribution, evening color and reducing burns.
It is made from LFGB platinum food-safe silicone and is rated to 500F.
The BreadMat will reduce dark spots and encourage even baking on the bottom of your loaf, but if it still too dark after using The BreadMat, it is recommended to place a heavy baking sheet on the bottom rack of your oven to act as a heat shield to further reduce darkening and to protect your BreadMat from excessive heat.

This is a game changer! I bought this after seeing several bakers use it on social media. It is so much sturdier than parchment paper, and it’s the perfect shape to maneuver dough! It also acts as the perfect buffer so my loaves never have burnt bottoms. They are always a lovely golden color and slide right off the mat. I just got a Challenger and cannot wait to buy the Bread Mat-C for larger bakes!! Highly recommend!

I love my new bread mats! I have been waiting for the mats for the Challenger Bread Pan to be available and bought 2 as soon as they were available. They make the process of loading the Challenger so much easier and safer. I had been sliding the dough into the Challenger with a pizza peel dusted with rice flour. Now, I also don’t have that flour burning in the Challenger. Great product!

I got the version 1 bread mat basically as soon as it came out. I absolutely loved it. Now I could have a way to get my loaves into a screaming hot Dutch oven without risking my fingers or having to make a sling out of parchment. It took the place of parchment and did the job so much better. Now bread releases easily after the bake, doesn’t have pieces of burnt parchment, and doesn’t burn on the bottom (thanks to just a touch extra thickness).
The only two issues I had were 1) the handles weren’t quite long enough to retrieve the loaf easily and 2) a few edges had barely started to fray, an issue I could see becoming worse. But V2 addressed both of those issues. The -L has handles that make retrieving bread a cinch. And the edges are now sealed so that they won’t fray.
Not sure why anyone bothers with parchment when this is an option. Buy one now, use it for ages, and enjoy better bread.
