We worked closely with Lanon for 2 years to make the perfect gloves for the home baker. They are thicker and longer than Lanon standard models, and passed LFGB testing, a Lanon first. Designed with the home baker in mind, you’ll love the extended cuff to help prevent the notorious home-oven forearm burn, and the lining is thick enough to maneuver 4 hot cast iron bakers around without your hands getting too warm!     My daughter gave me a pair for Christmas!! I love that I haven’t gotten burned, and I can pick up the breadmat with the oven gloves on to load my bread in my ceramic bakers!! My old hot pads were burning every time I needed to open my ceramic bakers.

    I am currently using the gloves a lot! I bake sourdough bread weekly. These gloves are great for handling cast iron vessels at temperatures up to 500 degrees F. They’re also pretty “grippy”, so I even use the to open jars!
