Description
The BreadMat™ is a reusable parchment paper replacement. It is shaped to fit the majority of popular baking vessels.
Strong handles make moving bread in and out of a hot oven easier and safer than using parchment.
The unique patented design enhances heat distribution, evening color and reducing burns.
It is made from LFGB platinum food-safe silicone and is rated to 500F.
The BreadMat will reduce dark spots and encourage even baking on the bottom of your loaf, but if it still too dark after using The BreadMat, it is recommended to place a heavy baking sheet on the bottom rack of your oven to act as a heat shield to further reduce darkening and to protect your BreadMat from excessive heat.
Return Policy:
Since these are a food contact item, I cannot return opened BreadMats.
The BreadMat is manufactured in China

I love using the Bread Mat because it keeps the bottom of the loaf from getting overdone. Plus the handles make it easy to maneuver the loaf in and out.
It makes a great gift too.

I got both the “regular” one and the “long” one. The long one was definitely needed for my 7 qt cast iron Dutch oven. The mat worked as advertised including reducing burning on the bottom of the loaf. It cleans up easily. Highly recommended.

It doesn’t really work well with the Challenger Bread Pan. Unlike with a Dutch oven with tall sides, because the Challenger pan has a flat bottom there is no way to easily tuck the flaps inside the cover, so it breaks the seal during the first phase when trying to add steam through spraying or the addition of ice cubes.

Hoping I can help with this! The BreadMat-C fits the Challenger perfectly. And the v2 of the BreadMat also fits really well. The -L, agreed, would not be a good fit. The handles simply press into the edge of pan and then turn and stick straight up. This allows you to put the lid on and trap the steam. Hope that helps! – Mike
