Remember that pie crust recipe I posted a couple days ago? Well I took the remnants and laid them in ramekins and baked them empty along side the pie until golden.
After baking I let them cool and then popped them in the fridge where they sat for a day.
Then I whipped up some pot pie filling with some onion, carrot, peas, and a simple milk roux gravy. These would be awesome as turkey pot pies or with any other leftovers you’ve got!
I then scooped the filling in the cold pie crusts and warmed them in the oven. The resulting pot pies were super hearty, warm, and tasty 🤤
