The most underrated pizza topping is hands down the pepperoncini pepper
In the States, I could get pepperoncini everywhere, my favorite brand was @mezzetta ‘s Jeff’s Naturals. Every time I made pizza I’d make at least one garlic olive oil, pepperoncini, shredded mozz, and black pepper pizza. It was a staple.
Then I moved to Scotland and I couldn’t find pepperoncini until a coworker recommended @lupepintosdeli , and sure enough, they had them 🙌
And then they didn’t. Some import thing changed with brexit and they couldn’t get them any more. 😭
So imagine my excitement when last week I walked into Lupe pintos and saw jars of pepperoncini sitting on the shelf 🙌🙌🙌🥳🥳🥳
I made this pizza the very next day.
It is the PERFECT pizza topping. It’s a little briney, I little pickly, a little spicy. They are amazing.
Get them. You won’t regret it. It’s even better with a little minced garlic under the cheese 😙👌
